The Castle School, Taunton – New Dining Facility

Due to a successful Condition Improvement Funding bid to the ESFA, The Castle school have submitted a planning application for a new dining hall and kitchen facility to improve and increase their existing provision. The new dining hall will provide a more formal dining experience and new kitchen equipment will continue to provide healthy meal options for their students.

The project is being delivered by Futures for Somerset, in association with Inspired Partnerships, Aspen and Portsdown.

Early works have already started, with the move of high voltage underground cables by Western Power.

The new facility is due to be open by September 2020.
